Training Days Training days are offered to encourage those new to the sport to 'test the waters' and those regular JumpCross riders to constantly improve their performance. Training is in groups of between 4 and 6 riders. You will receive tuition of a very high standard from our accredited JumpCross Instructors and you will also have a chance to ask about any aspect of the rules or scoring. The JumpCross venues round the Country do vary in their landscaping and level of training they offer. It is worth taking a look at the descriptions for each site if you are unsure. JumpCross is not as easy as it may first appear and there is a definite riding 'style' developing. JumpCross training days not only help horses and riders overcome their fears and obstacles, they also encourage a more rhythmic, and balanced riding style. Training days are a great introduction to cross-country for young or nervous horses or riders, those riders who have been off the scene for a while or are coming back to jumping after injury. Parents are far more comfortable with their child not only being taught to ride cross-country in a controlled, positive manner but also knowing that the fences will give way should the pony and child combination decide to part company! Training days provide you with an opportunity to find our more about JumpCross without having the added pressure of competition and are a great introduction before having a go at one of our competitions. **Special Offer - JumpCross is pleased to offer a 10% discount for all Pony Club Training Day bookings**
