Press Release

A NEW JumpCross course has been launched for horse owners and enthusiasts in the Worcestershire region.

The site at Lea Castle Farm, Wolverley near Kidderminster includes undulating terrain and a woodland area, providing great cross-country riding.

With a wealth of knowledge in the equestrian world, the team headed by Emma Strong, has more than 40 years experience in cross-country and other equestrian sports.

Said Emma: “We are delighted to be bringing JumpCross to the area and have recognised for some time now there is a real demand for this exciting sport and training facility.

JumpCross is a great way to experience the thrill and excitement of cross-country over knock-down fences and our research shows there are plenty of riders in the area who would really enjoy the sport.

“We have 120 acres of grassland and some great hills and hollows that provide wonderful terrain whether training or competing.”

Added Robin Dunlop of JumpCross: “It is great news that riders in the Worcestershire area will now be able to take part in JumpCross training and competitions.

“Lea Castle Farm has held a number of equestrian competitions and activities over the years and provides a wonderful venue for JumpCross.”

JumpCross is a unique sport that gives rider’s the thrill of galloping cross-country without the anxiety of tackling fixed obstacles.

The sport was launched as a safer and improved way of getting people to ride cross-country in a balanced rhythm and without the worry of jumping solid fences.
