JumpCross is being recognised not only in the UK but throughout Europe as an exciting sport with an underlying message of safety and fun.

JumpCross has become more and more popular over recent years, riders enjoy the fact that they are provided with a true cross country sport with the safety of knock down fences.

The course is not as intimidating as one with solid fences but it still commands balance, skill and respect in order to jump them cleanly.

The latest site to open is the Centre Européen du Cheval de Mont-le-Soie in Belgium, home of major scientific equine research, eventing competitions and now JumpCross.

Prof. Didier Serteyn opened the site with more than 200 riders and spectators turning out to watch a JumpCross demonstration and to enjoy the launch party.

Didier and his team of instructors are major names throughout Belgium and well respected horsemen and look forward to watching this sport develop.

Said Didier: “We are crying out for a sport like JumpCross, in Belgium Show Jumping, Eventing and Dressage take precedent and there is nothing for the young riders or more nervous rider.

“We are in no doubt that JumpCross will prove very popular with riders over here and we look forward to the future of the sport in Belgium and the surrounding areas.”
