JumpCross at Ardmedden Equestrian is Huge Success

THE launch of JumpCross - the fun equestrian sport for all ages and abilities at Ardmeddon Equestrian in Aberdeenshire was a huge success.

The training day saw local riders come along to support the launch and ride around the brand new course developed by Maureen Elrick and Andrew Simmers.

The JumpCross course at Ardmedden Equestrian, Oldmeldrum runs over 20 acres and provides riders with a wonderful experience with undulating ground, a water splash and water complex forming part of the course.

Said Maureen Elrick of Ardmedden Equestrian: “We were delighted with the response we received from the launch. It was a great day and well supported by local riders.

“We have a wonderful, natural setting here at Oldmeldrum for the sport of JumpCross with the land providing plenty of hills and hollows throughout the course.

“We are now looking forward to holding more events over the next couple of months and are planning ahead for next season.

“We are very excited about adding JumpCross to the facilities we already have with the concept of JumpCross providing a lot of fun and education for both horse and rider catering for everyone from those new to riding to competitors at advanced level.”
