JumpCross Comes To Oswestry

Press Release

JumpCross is delighted to welcome on board a new site at the Greenfield Stud and Livery Centre, in Oswestry, Shropshire.

A brand new JumpCross course awaits you featuring great confidence giving fences plus more challenging obstacles such as banks, ditches and a water complex.

JumpCross is an exhilarating cross-country discipline, combining the thrill of cross country riding whilst demanding the accuracy and skill of show jumping.

The aim is to provide all riders with a true cross-country sport with knock-down fences. Not as intimidating as solid fences for horse or rider, yet commanding balance, skill and respect in order to jump them cleanly.

The patented design of the JumpCross course enables the poles to fall away from the horse should they knock them. This vastly reduces the possibility of rider injury should the horse hit the fence.

It is an excellent way of training both horse and rider in the art of cross country riding, and is suitable for all ages and abilities.

Debbie Smith owner of The Greenfield Stud and Livery Centre will be holding a JumpCross open day on May 12, 2007.

All are welcome to attend the JumpCross open day, where you can learn more about the sport and its rules and ask any questions you may have. The course will also be open for inspection so that you can gain an insight into the JumpCross course.
