Following the success of JumpCross in the UK, plans are well underway to develop a JumpCross Site in France.
This exhilarating new cross-country sport will sit well in the picturesque coastline of south-western France and form part of the Jump Ocean resort, and will be open to the public by the end of June.
The Jump Ocean Resort forms a natural haven nestled in the pine forest that runs along the unspoilt coastline and is renowned for its mild microclimatewhich lends itself perfectly to the sport of JumpCross.
The course will sit along the bracing Atlantic coast, with its endless sandy beaches, and will run through the surrounding forest and peaceful fields.
Jeffrey Quirk of Jump Ocean said: “The surrounding countryside is breathtaking and we can not wait to be able to offer equestrian enthusiasts in this area, and our holiday makers the chance to ride over the JumpCross course.
“Our riders have been crying out for something like JumpCross and we are now please to be able to offer this fantastic sport,” added Jeffrey
The prospect of this new sport coming to the area has caused much stir and excitement and has been welcomed by the mayor of Messange, Mr Boyerie.
Robin Dunlop of JumpCross said: “We are all thrilled about our expansion to France. In May the course building is due to commence and we are very excited about JumpCross developing in Europe.”
This move across the water promises to be an exciting venture for riders in the area who currently do not have anything like this discipline on offer and also brings equestrian holidays to a whole new level.
