Successful Start To JumpCross At Bake Farm

Press Release

Olivia & Marbles at Bake Farm Jumpcross
The first JumpCross taster day at Bake Farm in Saltash was a great success, with all riders enjoying the inviting JumpCross course this site has to offer.

The riders attending the taster day were all under 16 years-old and were eager to ride the new course. The knock down fences required everyone to approach the jumps with respect, whilst the setting and lay out of JumpCross resembles that of a cross country course.

The good weather matched everyone’s spirits as riders and spectators alike were enthusiastic about what this new course has to offer.

Said Tracey Bond of Bake Farm JumpCross: “Today has been great with both riders and spectators thoroughly enjoying the day. I have had good feed back and we are looking forward to developing the course and making it a permanent fixture in horse owner’s calendars.

“The riders have not found JumpCross as intimidating as solid fences but they have still had to ride with balance, skill and respect in order to jump them cleanly.”

Bake Farm are continually developing their course with banks and ditches to be added shortly.

Run over permanent pasture and set in beautiful rolling countryside Bake Farm are constantly adding training dates and open days to their calendar, with the next Open Day taking place on August 3 rd, 4 th and 5 th.

Whether a seasoned competitor, nervous riders, coming back to jumping after injury, bringing on a young horse or just looking for something more stimulating, then JumpCross is for YOU!
