New Team Head Brechin Castle JumpCross Press Release The organising and running has been taken over by Val Blewitt who has many years experience in the equine world. No stranger to JumpCross, Val has jump judged at Brechin Castle frequently and her daughter Katie has been a keen competitor since JumpCross first came to Scotland. The course at Brechin Castle is set in beautiful woodland and parkland and will continue to be carefully maintained by Ian Christie who is the Course Builder and Designer. Ian, who is the Head Forester at Brechin Castle, is part of the original team who built the first Jump Cross course in Scotland - at Brechin Castle. Val takes over JumpCross from Alison Duff - who has been at Brechin Castle for 10 years and who helped put Brechin Castle on the map. The planned training dates are on Sunday 30th May, Sunday 20th June, Sunday 19th Sept, Sunday 3rd Oct, and Sunday 21st November. Competition dates are Sunday 11th July and Sunday 17th Oct.
