JumpCross Training Day at Priory Court Farm, Polegate - 10th May 2009.

The JumpCross season started well at Priory Court Farm on Sunday 10th May. It was a lovely sunny day and many horses and riders came along to enjoy the day.

In the morning we had the Intro classes, and in the afternoon we had a 2’9” group where the riders had training on the course which included the steps, bank and ditch and the water complex, before completing a section of the course at the end of the lesson as practice for competitions. The day proved challenging but great fun for our riders as they learnt how to develop cross-country riding skills over a variety of jumps.

We will be holding regular training days throughout the season and on Sunday 21st June in the morning there will be a chance for riders to have a go at JumpCross if you have never been before or take part in our mini competition. There will also be training sessions available in the afternoon.
