What You Think About JumpCross

"JumpCross is more forgiving when beginners make a mistake, creating a safer environment to jump in."
Alberto Guigni, Italian event rider

"JumpCross is a great introduction to cross country; it improves confidence in horses and riders. When riders are learning, JumpCross fences are more inviting and kinder than solid fences."
Tanya Kyle, International event rider

"JumpCross is a great introduction to cross country and jumping fixed fences, helping riders learn the importance of a correct approach."
Brook Staples, Australian event rider

"For the younger riders, parents feel happier knowing that their children are jumping over knock down fences, safety is always at the forefront of JumpCross."
Jeannette Brakewell, British Olympic event rider

"JumpCross training days are ideal for broadening the education of both horse and rider. The fact the fences are not fixed means that we can start riders at lower fences until they are jumped correctly and safely and then put them up - knowing that nobody is put in un-necessary danger."
Julia Crowson, International event rider

JumpCross involves all the thrill of cross country with the technical aspects of show jumping. An educating and enjoyable day out for both horse and rider. It is not all about speed but tests skill of horse and rider across the whole course.
If you have not tried JumpCross before their training days are an ideal insight into this challenging and thoroughly enjoyable sport.
Additionally, Jumpcross HQ’s team are friendly, accommodating and helpful, the guys on the start are absolute stars and the whole operation runs extremely smoothly”.
Jo Naylor, JumpCross competitor

“I just wanted to let you know how much Gulliver and I enjoy Jumpcross, I have decided to give up cross country as Gulliver for some reason has an aversion to ditches but we still wanted to enjoy the thrill of galloping across open countryside. Jumpcross offers us the perfect solution with challenging and varied courses that test both horse and rider over undulating countryside, we both need to be fit. Even though there is a ditch on the course, on a good day we have no problems. The courses are usually great for spectators as well, as you can see most of the course.
With JumpCross we get our cross country fix without the worry of solid fences and in a safe environment. The fact that over the year you run a series is great as it is exciting to look at the league tables and see how everyone is doing and the prize money on offer is second to none.
We also feel the competitions are very well organised with horses, riders and spectators well catered for. I look forward to JumpCross competitions more than any other events I do, even though I get nervous before hand, the exhilaration afterwards is worth it”.
Sally Wagstaff and Gulliver, JumpCross competitor

“I just had to send a note following our rather cold first introduction to JumpCross yesterday for my 12yr old daughter Annya, she was in the 1.15pm ride with Alberto Guigni and it was by far the best most positive enjoyable riding experience she has encountered in the last 2 years! He had a fantastic enthusiastic encouraging attitude and certainly brought out the best from a rather unconfident but keen rider. We are JumpCross addicts already! I would like you to pass on our thanks to Alberto and also to yourself and all your helpers in the running of such a great day”
Julie Mulhern

"Just wanted to say what a great day it was on Monday. This was my first attempt at JumpCross and I discovered it is more technical than anticipated and I think my horse did well too considering she is quite clumsy. My horse gained great confidence especially, jumping in and out of water.”
