JumpCross Season Set To Start at Greenfields of Avondale

The JumpCross season gets underway at Greenfields of Avondale with a training and competition day on April 17.

Why not freshen up your training schedule and competition experience by trying something new this spring?

The JumpCross training and competition courses at Greenfields of Avondale are able to cater for all levels from beginners to competitive cross country riders.

The course has evolved over the last couple of years to produce thoughtfully built, straightforward, confidence building fences – for those starting out in JumpCross or wishing to introduce young horses to cross country and has more advanced options, for those wishing to improve their existing skills and test their technical ability.

The diversity of landscape from acres of gentle undulating terrain to the 10 acre wooded complex as well as three lots of water options offers a great variety of choice and include drops, ditches and trakehners.

JumpCross is an enjoyable way to educate your horse, keeping him interested and his mind active. JumpCross was developed as a way to help both horse and rider achieve a rhythmical, balanced style whilst developing a clean, accurate jumping technique.

It is an ideal way to educate your horse and improve your riding. The underlying basics needed to compete successfully in JumpCross are required in almost every equestrian discipline.

Training days are brilliant for getting young horses or novice riders going, sorting out any problems or simply refreshing you and your horse after a winter off.

Not only will you gain advice on how to improve, you will also learn how to be competitive at JumpCross competitions.
