JumpCross - Priory Court farm
Sunday 21st June

Many horse and riders turned up to the open course day and competition at Priory Court Farm on 21st June. This gave riders the opportunity to try the course if they had never been before or practice for regular JumpCross riders. They had the chance to have a go at the ditch, water and Joker fence at the end of the course.

Local rider Billie Wood on He’s a Geeza, a regular at JumpCross this year won the competition with an excellent time and a clear round including opting for the joker fence which they cleared successfully.

Results of the Intro class.

1st Billie Wood on He’s a Geeza
2nd Hayley Thomas on Archie Brown
3rd Debbie Medlicott on Irish Cream
4th Louise Jarvis on Snoopy
5th Annette valance on Mad Hatter
6th Sarah Smithers on Breeze

Training sessions were also held in the afternoon. The lessons proved challenging but great fun for our riders as they learnt how to develop cross-country riding skills over a variety of jumps.

The site at Priory Court Farm, like many other JumpCross courses is designed to provide horse & rider with the experience of cross country without having to worry about the dangers surrounding solid fences making it safer for horse and rider.
