Although slightly blustery, Jumpcross participants enjoyed training at the Coillemore site on Sunday 22nd August. The regulars who attended are becoming very expert and with confidence growing it is heartwarming to see both horses and riders having fun and safe in the knowledge that they are not going to hit a solid fence. Young and old can share the experience and feel the freedom of the open fields.

For some of the younger members it has proved very beneficial after purchasing a new pony and not knowing how it is going to react at Pony Club or at Cross Country. For the parents and riders it can give reassurance to go on and try Cross Country if they want after a successful experience at Jumpcross and of course for young horses it is also a fabulous training exercise.
Membership at Coillemore is growing and of course this enables people to go for competitions at the other sites also.
