The Paddock Farm course is the latest addition to the JumpCross venues, covering Somerset and Devon.

Paddocks Farm is positioned in a stunning rural position on the southern slopes of the Brendon Hills close to the Exmoor National Park in an area widely regarded as some of the most attractive countryside in the West Country.

Stabling is available for those wishing to stay overnight for JumpCross.

Meet the Team

Mary-Anne Ghazala BHSII
Chief Instructor
Accredited JumpCross instructor

Mary-Anne recently moved from West Sussex, where she was Assistant District Commissioner for the Crawley & Horsham Pony Club for 5 years. Qualified as a BHS Intermediate Instructor and qualified as a 'B' test examiner she brings a wealth of experience.

In addition to her riding qualifications Mary-Anne has completed an Appointed Persons First Aid Course, a NSPCC Sports Coach UK 'Good Practice Child Protection' Course and an Health and Safety Act 1974 Seminar.

Mary-Anne has hunted for 35 years and has competed in Eventing, Show Jumping and Showing as well as being an accomplished Side Saddle Rider.

Pam Roffe-Silvester

Instructor
Accredited JumpCross Instructor

Pam, a regular teacher for over 10 years for local British Horse Society Pony Clubs, in addition she is a qualified Riding & Road Safety Instructor. Pam's training includes First Aid training in the workplace with both the Red Cross and St Johns.

Pam is a member of the Blackdown Hills Riding Club, and a prominent figure within the Chipstable Foxhounds for which Pam's husband William is the Master and Huntsman.

Philip Ghazala
Course Manager

Along with the team at JumpCross HQ and the Instructors, Philip has built this most exciting course. As well as ensuring the course is kept in 'tip-top' condition Philip is responsible for arrangement of competitions, PR and sponsorship.

Philip, a leading Sporting Commentator and Presenter, won the Equestrian Voice of the Year 2003. He provides commentary and presenting services at some of the most prestigious equestrian events in the UK in front of live audiences and on television.

Amelia & Oliver Ghazala

Mary-Anne and Philip's teenage children, both brought up through the Pony Club and in the hunting field - they are assisting with many aspects of running Paddocks Farm.

As well as hunting with the Chipstable Foxhounds, Amy has her sights on winning Badminton or the Cheltenham Gold Cup whilst Ollie would be happy to live in Argentina progressing his polo.
